The Volunteer Fire and Rescue Services Association of WA is the peak body for 96 Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service brigades with approximately 2500 volunteers servicing 2,646 million square kilometres of WA, providing the services of fire response, structural and bushfire, road crash rescue, hazmat response and other services to the communities.
